QuietDesk offers free study tools and study-skills guides. By using the site you agree to these short terms.

Free to use

Everything on QuietDesk is free for students, parents and teachers. There are no accounts, subscriptions or in-site purchases.

Classroom and educational use

Teachers and schools may use the site in lessons, project the timer, and print or copy the planner, checklist and method guides for their students, free of charge, for non-commercial educational purposes. Please don't sell our materials or republish them as your own.

About the guides

The study-method guides are general educational information, written as carefully and accurately as we can. Different methods suit different people, so treat them as ideas to try rather than rules. They're not a substitute for advice from your teachers, and they aren't medical or psychological advice.

The tools

The timer, planner and checklist run in your browser. We work to keep them reliable, but we can't guarantee they'll be accurate on every device or that saved information will always be there, since browsers can clear it. Please keep your own record of exam dates and anything important.

Acceptable use

Please don't try to disrupt the site or use it for anything unlawful.
